01

The challenge

Internal double-brick walls needed to be removed in a controlled sequence while the existing structure remained safely supported and ready to receive new permanent steelwork.

02

Our approach

The walls were supported with needling before controlled demolition. New structural steel beams and posts were then installed and the shell was prepared for handback to the following fitout stage.

03

The outcome

The result was an opened and structurally reinforced retail shell ready for the next contractor or fitout package. The project record states that this structural portion finished ahead of schedule.

Delivered scope

One coordinated build program.

  • Needling and temporary structural support
  • Demolition of internal double-brick walls
  • Installation of structural steel beams
  • Installation of new steel posts
  • Preparation and handback of the retail shell
